Congratulate the Royal Couple as They Tie the Knot

Edmontonians are invited to come to City Hall or Central Lions Seniors Recreation Centre to sign a congratulatory card from the City of Edmonton for the upcoming wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Cards will be available for signing at the City Hall Information Desk (City Room, main floor) and at the Central Lions Seniors Recreation Centre from Tuesday, April 19 until Friday, April 29. The Central Lions Seniors Recreation Centre is located at 11113 113 St.
The card was designed by Nancy Schultz, Arts and Education Consultant for the City of Edmonton. The card showcases Edmonton’s river valley.
People signing a card are encouraged to bring along a donation for the Edmonton Food Bank in keeping with the wishes of the Royal Couple. Prince William and Kate Middleton have requested donations to charity in lieu of wedding gifts.
The Royal Wedding takes place on Friday, April 29.
