Check Out Mount Pleasant Cemetery’s Open House
June 10, 2011
Whether you’re a local history buff, or making plans for your final resting place, plot a trip to the Mount Pleasant Cemetery Open House.
Date: Saturday, June 11, 2011
Time: 10am – 4pm
Location: Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 5420 106 Street
You’ll be able to view the cemetery’s indoor niche building, get help locating your ancestors' gravesites, or take a walking tour of the resting spots of some of Edmonton’s most prominent founders and characters.
Sales Representatives will also be available to discuss your pre-planning needs, including indoor niche availabilities, pre-purchased urns for cremated remains and financing.
The City of Edmonton is also looking for input from the public as we put together a plan to enhance South Haven and Northern Lights Cemeteries.
Through a public survey, information will be gathered and used to further enhance and develop the design of Northern Lights and South Haven Cemeteries.
The public can fill out the online survey at www.edmonton.ca/cemeteries until midnight, Saturday, June 26th, or they can attend the Mount Pleasant public open house.
