Stony Plain Road Streetscape (149 Street to 158 Street) - Open House

Residents and business owners are invited to an open house regarding Stony Plain Road streetscape improvements.
Date: Tuesday January 31, 2012
Time: 5-9pm
Location: Westlawn Chapel, 16310 Stony Plain Road
The City will share its draft Stony Plain Road Streetscape Concept Plan for 149 Street to 158 Street, and get public feedback on the overall design, parking reconfiguration, connectivity and related streetscape elements. Public input will be considered in the final recommended Concept Plan to be shared at an information session on February 15, 2012.
The open house builds upon previous public consultation with surrounding communities as part of the Jasper Place Revitalization Strategy. Streetscaping will help make Stony Plain Road a sustainable, vibrant, well designed and pedestrian-friendly mixed-use “main street” and business area for Edmonton’s west end.
