Citizens are invited to a public meeting about a rezoning proposal in the Windermere neighbourhood.
Date: Wednesday November 7, 2012
Time: 7pm
Location: Terwillegar Recreation Centre, 2501 Leger Road NW
The proposed DC1 rezoning at 1306 Windermere Way SW is a provision that controls development specific to this site. The proposed rezoning would allow for an increase in the property height from 16 metres to 18 metres and from 4 to 5 storeys. The proposal would continue to allow for a mix of residential and commercial development on the site, and allow for residential uses on the first floor.
The meeting is an opportunity for citizens to learn more about the proposed rezoning, receive information about the City’s planning review process, and provide feedback to the City and the applicant. Feedback will be summarized in a report to City Council before they make their decision on the proposal.
