Restricted access 108 Street, 99 Avenue to 104 Avenue
During the Alberta Legislature’s 100th birthday celebrations planned for the Labour Day long weekend, residents are reminded that there is restricted access on 108 Street from 99 Avenue to 104 Avenue due to the Capital Boulevard streetscaping project. Barriers and closures will remain in place for the remainder of the construction season.
There is limited or no access from that area directly to the Legislature grounds; rather, those planning to attend the celebrations are strongly encouraged to use ETS or to park in the east underground parkade off of 107 street, the Impark lot at 106 Street & 98 Avenue or Telus Field at 10233-96 Avenue.
The City of Edmonton appreciates the patience of citizens and wishes everyone involved with the Alberta Legislature’s 100th birthday all the best for this important milestone celebration.
