Check out the creature comforts touch table to learn all about animal enrichments. Find out what enrichments are and why it’s important to use them to provide stimulating environments for zoo animals in order to enhance their well-being.
Get closer with animal encounters and special Animal Enrichment Day presentations. Be sure to join us for the 11am Elephant Talk as Lucy will be collaborating with local artist Tricia Firmaniuk to make a one of a kind painting.
On your way out make sure to let us know how your life was enriched by your visit, or get your picture taken at our photo booth.
Also, don’t forget to buy a conservation dollar to vote for your favourite animal in the Edmonton Valley Zoo’s race for Animal of the Year! Will it be Kayok, Rocky, Hula, or Pip?
