(Zoo is open 9:30am–6pm)
Location:  Edmonton Valley Zoo (13315 Buena Vista Road)

Learn all about Africa by going on the African Animal Safari Search, and then perfect your drumming skills in a drum circle. Get closer to African animals in an animal encounter or while you listen to an educational interpretive talk.

Next, drop by the craft stop to construct a zany zebra craft to take home and enjoy.

Before you leave make sure you watch as the resident African animals receive special enrichment treats. Don’t miss this chance to visit Africa at the Edmonton Valley Zoo.

Also, don’t forget to buy a conservation dollar to vote for your favourite animal in the Edmonton Valley Zoo’s Race for Animal of the Year. Will it be Kayok, Rocky, Hula, or Pip?
