Get Parked on Car Free Day

Celebrate International Car Free Day and give the environment a day off. Use transit, ride your bike, walk, or carpool instead of driving on your own.
Date: Saturday September 22, 2012
Time: 11am – 3pm. Event kick off is at noon.
Location: 102 Avenue between 104 and 103 Street* (beside the Downtown Farmer’s Market)
*Bay/Enterprise Square is the closest LRT station.
Come play on Edmonton’s largest hopscotch board and enjoy other free activities:
- Bike tune ups and cycling tips
- Face painting and kids crafts
- Bicycle try-it library
- YMCA kids’ zone
- Learn how to load your bike onto an ETS bus
- Take the 1-day-a-week pledge
