Get Involved: Two Chances to Have your Say on Northwest LRT

June 18, 2012

Public engagement on the Northwest LRT continues with two meetings June 19 and 20, 2012. Both events will run from 4-8:30pm, with presentations at 4:30pm and 6:30pm.

Date:  Tuesday June 19, 2012
Time:  4-8:30pm
Location:  Caernarvon School, 14820-118 Street

Date:  Wednesday June 20, 2012
Time:  4-8:30pm
Location:  Calder Hall, 12721-120 Street

Residents and community stakeholders have the opportunity to give feedback on possible stop locations and track alignment along the approved LRT corridor. Feedback from these meetings will inform a recommended concept plan to go before City Council in the fall.

The North LRT to NAIT is a 3.3km extension from Churchill LRT Station in downtown Edmonton northwest to NAIT. It’s the first segment of a planned LRT expansion to Edmonton city limits near St. Albert and is part of the Transportation Master Plan’s vision to expand LRT service to all sectors of the City by 2040.
