Final Disposition 2010 Surplus
By legislation, any candidate with a surplus from the 2010 Municipal Election who is not running in the next election is required to report the final disposition of the surplus. The candidate may either donate the money to a registered charity (Subsection 248(1) of the Income Tax Act of Canada) of their choice or donate it to the City of Edmonton.
