Leadership Speakers Series
The aim of the Leadership Speakers Series is to provide a setting for the City’s leaders to share ideas, learn and provide input into the issues facing the organization. These half day sessions are held twice each year and speakers are selected based on a topic of interest to the entire organization. Themes for these sessions are identified through assessing the current priorities of the Senior Management Team and City Council.
Leadership Exchange Forum
The Leadership Exchange Forum is an opportunity for members of the Extended Leadership Team (Directors, Branch Managers and General Managers) to explore leadership themes in the presence of the City Manager. There are 5 forums held each year which are designed to:
- Communicate and promote a shared understanding of the Senior Management Team's priorities
- Allow the City Manager to share his expectations of the Extended Leadership Team
- Allow members of the Extended Leadership Team to share their successes and ideas
