Winter City Festival
When deep winter sets in, Edmonton will show the world we know how to party outside! On Friday, January 30, following the Winter Cities Shake-up Conference, downtown Edmonton will be transformed for the first Winter Shake-Up Festival and Market.
- Shop local at our city's first outdoor winter market with over 40 vendors
- Roast marshmallows at fire pits
- Sit under heaters to enjoy hot chocolate, mulled wine and other warm drinks in the family friendly beverage garden
- Take in live entertainment and displays by local talent
Join us on Friday, January 30 from noon until 8 pm in Edmonton’s Churchill Square and experience the magic that is possible only in a northern city. Because in Edmonton, we don't let a little snow or cold stop us from playing outside!
