Development Infrastructure Impact Model
The Development Infrastructure Impact Model (DIIM) is a financial impact model that evaluates the costs and revenues resulting from the development of new neighbourhoods.
The goal is to help understand how changes in key drivers affect the long-term financial outlook of the development.
The tool helps to inform decision makers, by tying together land use, infrastructure and service costs, demographics, and revenue information into one complete package. This allows for scenario analysis, and the exploration of the consequences of alternative design.
