Committees and Membership

ELEVATE Working Committee

The ELEVATE Working Committee is comprised of senior administrators of School Boards and City representatives who meet monthly to review opportunities for inter-jurisdictional cooperation, and to recommend priorities and joint projects to the Edmonton Community Sustainability Coalition (ECSC).

ELEVATE Interim Steering Committee

In response to one of the major recommendations of the ELEVATE Report, the ELEVATE Interim Steering Committee held its first meeting in January of 2013 to

“Bring together the four jurisdictions (Federal, Provincial, Municipal, School Boards) to create innovative partnerships and re-configured policy and funding models designed to assemble a new urban agenda.”

The ELEVATE Interim Steering Committee is building the foundation for collaborative community sustainability work in Edmonton. Made up of representatives from the City of Edmonton, local School Boards, Provincial and Federal government representatives, the Committee is working together to map out a formalized governance framework for ongoing community sustainability collaboration.
