Jane's Walks
Get out and Walk! Edmonton actively participates in the Jane's Walk program, which offers walking tours as a means to allow citizens to discover the many facets of our community.
A Jane's Walk is a walking conversation that includes local voices and gives the opportunity to learn more about the communities of Edmonton. There are walks focusing on art, history, urban design and development issues, and the neighbourhoods people call home.
Doors Open Festival
The Edmonton and District Historical Society also offers the annual Doors Open Festival.
This festival provides opportunities for citizens to learn more about Edmonton's fascinating history through the celebration of community milestones.
Explore museums, archives and historic sites and participate in bus and walking tours of gardens, natural areas, cemeteries and neighbourhoods.
