City of Edmonton Archives
Located in the historic Prince of Wales Armouries Heritage Centre, the City of Edmonton Archives is a public research facility housing civic government and private records documenting Edmonton's history.
Archival materials include paper records, oral history tapes, photographs, film, video recordings, digital records, correspondence, diaries, and personal histories.
Everyone is welcome to use the research room and the Archives is wheelchair accessible. Enter from the south side and use the elevator on the main floor. Regular and disabled access parking is available.

Virtual Exhibit on Ella May Walker
Our virtual exhibits site is now available! Our first exhibit is about Ella May Walker, a musician, artist, author and advocate for Edmonton's history.

New Parking Lot Entrance - Prince of Wales Armouries
Our parking lot has a new entrance and can now only be accessed from west of 105 Street along 108 Avenue.
Due to LRT construction, several roads around the building are now permanently closed.

Please note that LRT construction is ongoing. When planning your trip to the Archives, check the City's Construction Bulletins for additional road closures.
