Independent Council Compensation Committee
The Committee terminated on August 31, 2013 as per Bylaw 15969, Part VI - 33
At the December 14, 2011, City Council meeting, Bylaw 15969 was passed, establishing a new Independent Council Compensation Committee. The Committee comprises of five citizen members appointed by the City Manager. During their term, committee members review and make recommendations on the remuneration provided to Members of Council, including base salary, other forms of compensation, benefits, pensions, other allowances and market adjustment policies. The Committee will report its recommendations no later than January 31, 2013.
