From affordable housing, transportation, recreation, events and access to City programs and services you said affordability is an important part of caring for each other.

You called upon the city to work in partnership with other orders of government and other agencies to ensure affordability of programs and services, to advocate for more affordable housing and to offer preventative and support programs to people at risk.

When you discussed affordable services you included affordable child care, support for homeless and vulnerable populations, youth and those new to our country and new to our city.
You said social services supports such as counselling services, community based social workers and community recreation coordinators to help community leagues are important.
You said crisis and preventative services are need to support at risk groups and that providing support for non-profit, multi-cultural groups and organizations is an important part of caring for each other and creating a connected community.
You also said it's important that any resident, regardless of income or location, be able to readily and easily participate in City programs, facilities and services.
You called for greater access to health services, particularly in the outlying areas of Edmonton.
