To continue building a sustainable and resilient Edmonton, the City has initiated the Energy Transition Plan (ETP), a framework designed to help reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, increase energy efficiency and promote resilient energy systems in Edmonton. The City Office of Energy Management manages various energy conservation programs to meet the objectives of the plan for City-owned facilities.
