Whether you are an individual, school or community group, there are a number of environmental grants you can apply for.
- Alberta Conservation Association (ACA)
Annual grants for projects that benefit Alberta's wildlife and fish populations and their habitats. - Alberta Council for Environmental Education (ACEE)
Grants and and awards listing - Alberta EcoTrust
Various grants for delivery of programs, projects and results that advance environmental missions. - BP
A+ for Energy offers teachers up to $10,000 per project to make their energy projects become a reality. - City of Edmonton: EcoCity Edmonton
Community sustainability grants for non-profits, community leagues, schools and charities to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. - Emerald Foundation
Youth Environmental Engagement Grant offers micro-grants up to $400 for group projects to support environmental engagement activities. - Environment Canada
EcoAction Community Funding Program offers funding for the following themes: clean air, clean water, climate change and nature. - Mountain Equipment Co-op
Community Contributions offers grants and product donations for a variety of themes. - TD
Friends of the Environment Foundation offers funding for a variety of environmental themes. - World Wildlife Foundation (WWF)
Go Wild! Community Grant offers grants from $1,000 to $7,000 to support creative ideas on how to protect, restore, monitor, education and celebration nature.
