Mandate
The Office of Environment assists the corporation in fulfilling its environmental mission: "The City of Edmonton is committed to conscientious and responsible environmental management, practices and stewardship in all aspects of its corporate activities."
Services
The Office of Environment:
- acts as a focal point for environmental information;
- coordinates and facilitates environmental activities which are interdepartmental or interagency in nature; and
- supports and facilitates the effective operation of the Environmental Policy Leadership Committee and the Environmental Advisory Committee.
