Branch Mandate
Fleet Services is responsible for all aspects relating to the procurement, use, administration, fleet safety, and maintenance of City of Edmonton vehicles.
Branch services
Fleet Maintenance and Repair
A team of mechanics, engineers, and technicians maintain a fleet of 4,050 vehicles across 11 garage locations. Services are also provided to select private sector clients.
Fleet Engineering
Technical and financial issues related to fleet management can be addressed through Fleet Engineering.
Customized fabrication services are available in addition to engineered modifications, failure analysis, oil analysis and interpretation.
Staff can provided analysis and advice for equipment and vehicles including life cycle and maintenance planning and a full range of Computer Aided Design (CAD) services
Fleet Safety
24-hour emergency accident investigation, driver training, driver permits and licenses.
Fuel Management
On behalf of the City of Edmonton, Fleet Services manages the fuel dispensation for the City’s fleet of vehicles and equipment.
Fleet Administration
Development of rate, billing and key performance indicator reporting.
