Drainage Services is ISO 14001:2004 certified. The Environmental Management System covers all activities in planning, construction, and operations.

Drainage Services is one of the highest risk environmental areas in the City of Edmonton and has greatly benefited from the implementation of the Environmental Management System.

Regular review by both internal and external parties helps ensure the system remains viable and current. Drainage Services was the first operational area in the City to operate under ISO 14001:2004 Certification.
