Edmonton Design Committee Submission Requirements
The main purpose of the submission requirements is to provide the Edmonton Design Committee (EDC) with a clear explanation of a proposed development. It should be clearly communicated to the development/design communities that the EDC requires information that highlights and reinforces the Principles of Urban Design.
- Submissions must be delivered to Administration a minimum of two weeks prior to the scheduled hearing date. Deliveries can be sent to:

- There shall be a minimum of 15 copies for circulation to EDC members
- The booklets must be:
- Tabloid (11”x17”) format
- Single-sided
- Printed in colour
- Bound
- Physical material samples will not be required for the circulation, but are required to be presented at the formal hearing. The sample board will be submitted to the Development Planner as part of the development permit application process.
- Electronic submissions, used by the applicant to present the project at the hearing, are required to be submitted on the Friday before the scheduled hearing. This portion of the submission may be sent electronically in PDF format, or submitted in person on a USB or CD.
