City Records & Archives

City Records & Archives contains historical records such as the City of Edmonton's Corporate Records and archival documents like images, film, video and audio recordings in the City of Edmonton Archives.

City of Edmonton Archives

The City of Edmonton Archives houses archival materials including paper records, oral history tapes, photographs, film, video recordings, computer records, correspondence, diaries and personal histories. These materials are used by professional historians, writers, artists, educators, students, media, genealogists, provincial and civic government employees, engineers and environmentalists.

Corporate Records Management

As part of its daily operations, the City produces important legal and historical records which are managed and preserved through the Corporate Records Management program, overseen by the Office of the City Clerk.
