Bylaw Plans and Initiatives
The Community Standards Branch educates citizens and businesses about basic community standards. Community standards are the rules that help to ensure that Edmonton is a clean, tidy and safe city to live. Citizens must maintain private property to a reasonable level and behave in an appropriate manner in public places, just as the City must maintain public property to a reasonable level. Bylaw Enforcement works to educate people about the rules and bylaws enforced in Edmonton.
