Residential Land Status

Land Supply in Developing and Planned Neighbourhoods

(formerly called Neighbourhoods Under Construction)

This annual report shows the percentage of completion of residential land in developing neighbourhoods (those already under construction). The 2010 report adds some additional data on the projected remaining land supply in both developing and planned neighbourhoods (those not yet being developed). The objective is to show where current growth is taking place and if/when new land is needed for future growth.

Status of Residential Land in Developing Neighbourhoods

This annual report provides detailed information about the amount and type of activity in developing residential neighbourhoods in Edmonton. The information includes subdivision plan registration activity, land servicing activity, approved building permits, and total amount of vacant serviced residential land.
