Lot Grading Fees

An initial application fee is collected when you apply for a building permit at Sustainable Development. Lot grading inspection fees are payable for each separate building permit application. The following fees are listed by property type:

• Multi-family housing: $220 payable for each dwelling unit, plus $55 for each dwelling unit on the first level that contains dwelling units. The fee for each dwelling unit shall be charged only for the number of units being developed;
• Any other land use: $220 per hectare, subject to a minimum of $220.
