Multi-Family Lot Grading

There are 6 different lot types for multi-family. The diagrams below illustrate the basic multi-family lot grading requirements:

Lot Type A - Rear to front surface drainage (2-3% overall slope) with Grading Details

Lot Type B - Rear to front surface drainage (3-6% overall slope) with Grading Details

Lot Type C - Rear to front surface drainage (>6% overall slope) with Grading Details

Lot Type D - Standard split surface drainage (1. 5% overall slope) with Grading Details

Lot Type F - Front to rear surface drainage (2-3% overall slope) with Grading Details

Lot Type W - Split surface drainage for walkout basement with Grading Details

Commercial Lot Grading

There are 2 different lot types for commercial. The diagrams below illustrate the basic commercial lot grading requirements:

Lot Type A for one building

Lot Type B for two or more buildings

Grading Details for both Lot Types A and B
