Assessment and Taxes
Each year, the City of Edmonton conducts property and Business Revitalization Zone (BRZ) assessments.
The City mails out property assessment notices in early January to all property owners within Edmonton. Property tax bills arrive in May, and property tax payments are due by June 30.
Business Revitalization Zone assessments help determine a tax amount that goes toward services and programs within designated zones. These taxes are paid only by those businesses within a Business Revitalization Zone. These assessment notices and tax bills are mailed mid-February, with the taxes due by March 31.
