Shinny Hockey
Single Admission passes must be purchased in advance from any leisure, sports and fitness facility. Admission passes are not available to purchase at the arena. Shinny hockey is divided up into age divisions to ensure customer service and the overall shinny experience. Full equipment is required, including shoulder pads, helmets, & mask or visor. Children and youth (up to 17 years) are required to wear a cage during shinny hockey.
To Register
Register for your shinny hockey spot with the skate monitor on duty (max. 30min. prior to shinny time).
Valid admission includes:
- Single Admission pass ($8 for Adult Shinny, $6 for Child/Youth Shinny), available at any recreation centre
- Multiple Facility Access or Full Facility Access Monthly & Continuous Monthly Membership Card
- Multiple Facility Access or Full Facility Access Annual Membership Card
Membership cards need to be presented upon sign-on.
All signed-in players will receive a stamp, and can proceed to the change rooms. Once the capacity of 28 players is reached, there will be no more spots available.
Please do not bring your personal belongings to the Arena during the shinny hockey session.
Child/Youth Shinny Hockey
Admission: $6; goalies play for free.
Maximum 28 players, not including goalies. Full equipment is required. Single Admission passes must be purchased in advance from any leisure, sports and fitness facility. Admission passes are not available to purchase at the arena. Age requirements are child shinny: 9-13 years, and youth shinny: 14-17 years.
Adult Shinny Hockey
Admission: $8; goalies play for free.
Maximum 28 players, not including goalies. Full equipment is required. Single Admission passes must be purchased in advance from any leisure, sports and fitness facility. Admission passes are not available to purchase at the arena. Adult age division is 18 years +.
