Outdoor Pools
Pool Opening DatesDue to late spring and cold weather in April, we will be opening some pools a week later than usual. Mill Creek Outdoor Pool will open on Saturday, May 18 for the long weekend, weather permitting. |
There's nothing like taking a dip in an outdoor pool. The water, the sun, the breeze, it's the only way to soak up the summer. And with Edmonton's outdoor pools offering children's summer camps, lane swimming, public swimming, swim training, and public rentals, there's something for everyone to get excited about.
Pools will close for inclement weather or temperatures forecast below 18°C. Subject to change.
- Closures are determined by temperature (below 18°C), weather (stormy, heavy rain, lightening / thunder, etc.), and bookings.
- Outdoor pool status is updated daily at 10am and 2pm.
- Queen Elizabeth Outdoor Pool will only be closed in extreme weather. During guaranteed hours (6-8am and 11am-2pm weekdays), customers can access Kinsmen Sports Centre in the event of severe weather.
