About the City Arts Centre

The City Arts Centre offers courses in the visual and performing arts, dance, crafts, hobbies like pottery and silversmithing, health and fitness, cooking, writing and more.

Our welcoming atmosphere and professional instruction is ideal for introductory level courses. No experience is required to have fun and try something new! Our programs are designed for adults, children and youth, and families.

We also work with community groups, schools, agencies, and corporations to design programs to meet their specific needs, and most of our facility is accessible, including our parking and washrooms.

The City Arts Centre features 2 specialized studio spaces for pottery and silversmithing plus several general purpose rooms. You can rent much of this space for your special event or meeting – see Facility Bookings to learn more.
