William Hawrelak Park

Picnic sites are available all year on a first-come first-served basis. A site may be reserved for dates between May 1 to October 11, 8am-10pm. Minimum 2 hour booking required.
William Hawrelak Park (originally Mayfair Park) is a 130 hectare park in the river valley featuring a 10 ha. lake and open grassy areas.
The park hosts several major festivals and events over the summer including the Heritage Festival, River City Shakespeare Festival, International Blues Festival, Pets in the Park, and Symphony Under the Sky.
No dogs, please.

You will need to bring your own wood for the BBQ pits and stoves. Firewood is available at the boathouse for an additional fee.
Picnic Sites with Power
There is an additional fee of $39 for power, to be booked and paid three days in advance. The power fee will be refunded if the site is not used due to inclement weather.
Vehicle Access
Picnic sites #3 and #5 require vehicle access. If you need vehicle access to a picnic site for delivery or pickup please make arrangements three working days in advance.
