Whitemud Park

Whitemud Park is located in the River Valley next to Fort Edmonton Park, the John Janzen Nature Centre, and the Whitemud Equine Centre. The park is naturalized and not wheelchair accessible.
No dogs, please. There is an off leash site along the Hawrelak Trail, north of the Whitemud Equine Learning Centre

Picnic sites are available for booking May 1 to October 10, 8am-11pm and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Minimum 2 hour booking required.
Whitemud Park Integrated Plan
The Whitemud Park Integrated Plan, approved by Council in 2003, is a comprehensive plan for the area includingFort Edmonton Park, John Janzen Nature Centre, Whitemud Equine Learning Centre and Whitemud Park.
An open house on the Whitemud Park Integrated Plan - Amendment Proposal submitted by the Indigenous Elders Cultural Resource Circle Society (IECRCS) was held on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009.
