Picnic Sites

 

The City of Edmonton has responded to requests by Edmontonians to create a better system for reservations. Residents have expressed a need for a self-serve, online reservation system for City operated picnic sites, outdoor tennis, as well as gazebos. A new online reservation service has been created that can be accessed seven days a week, 24 hours per day and will show current availability of venues.

Reservation requests for the 2013 season will not be accepted prior to March 1, 2013.

Picnic sites will be available for reservation from May 4th to October 14th, 2013 (weather permitting).

First-come, first-served picnic sites are allocated for use in the event that you choose not to reserve a site in advance. These sites are free of charge.

2013 Fees for reserved picnic sites & services:

Canopied Picnic Sites: $35.30/hr*

Non-Canopied Picnic Sites: $27.05/hr*

Picnic Site with Ball Daimond: $35.30/hr*

Jackie Parker Park Pavilion – Daily: $370.00

Jackie Parker Park Pavilion – Hrly: $44.55/hr*

Note *: A Minimum 4 hr reservation is required.

Picnic Site Extra Fees:

Power Access at selected sites: $43.25/reservation

Vehicle Access at selected sites: $43.25/ reservation

Extra Picnic Tables: $26.25 per table

Note: Borden Park picnic sites are available for first-come, first serve use only for the summer 2013 season due to construction in the park.
