Our parks and river valley breathe life into our vibrant city, providing an integrated, safe environment for active living and urban wellness.
The River Valley forms a "Ribbon of Green" that winds its way along the North Saskatchewan River and through the heart of the city. It features natural areas, paved and natural trails, and amenities.
Wildlife sightings in the River Valley are common so bring your camera or binoculars!
