Enjoy a full day of fun with free admission to City attractions and selected recreation centres.

Each year the City of Edmonton plans a special free admission day for Edmontonians. It's the City's way of saying thank you to citizens.

The City of Edmonton invites you to enjoy a full day of fun with free admission to its attractions and selected recreation centres. We gratefully accept donations of non-perishable food items for the Edmonton Food Bank at Rundle Golf Course, Fort Edmonton Park, Valley Zoo, and the Muttart Conservatory.

Free admission applies from 10am to 6pm. Only admission will be waived.

All food services, rentals and ride tickets will be charged at the regular rate.

Our cashiers will sell you a voucher that you redeem for a City of Edmonton admission pass when presented at the first facility you choose to visit. The pass you are issued will be redeemable until December 31, 2010.

*Single family admission is 2 adults aged 18⁺ and all persons under the age of 18 living in the same household.

Fort Edmonton/Valley Zoo Shuttle Service

Route 596 Fort Edmonton/Valley Zoo shuttle will run service on Free Admission Day, Sunday, September 27, 2009. The 596 shuttle will run between South Campus, Fort Edmonton, Valley Zoo and is extended to WEM. Service frequency is increased to 15 minute intervals. Regular ETS fares apply.

There will also be free shuttle service to Fort Edmonton Park ONLYoperating from two locations:

Neil Crawford Centre
(by the J.G. O'Donoghue Building surface parking lot)
9:45am-6:30pm (last bus leaves Fort Edmonton at 6:30pm)
approximately 30 minute frequency
Callingwood Arena parking lot
