Kick-Off Celebration in Churchill Square

Sir Winston Churchill Square is the place to be to kick off a 10-day, city-wide celebration of Edmonton’s western and agricultural heritage.

Friday November 2

The fun begins in the Square at 11:30am with the 22^nd Annual Chili Cook Off, where 24 participants will battle for the title of 'Edmonton's Best Chili'.

Then join the fun from 4:30-9:30pm at the Beer Gardens and BBQ, mechanical bull-riding and fabulous main stage entertainment featuring CCMA award winner Shane Chisholm.

Saturday November 3

The fun continues on Saturday in Churchill Square and City Hall. The day will start at 10am with vendors from the popular City Market Downtown in City Hall and continues out in the Square at 11am with FREE activities and entertainment for the entire family. Activities and entertainment will include hayrides, pony rides, square dancers, singers, kids’ games and crafts, story telling and more.

Warm up in the heated tent where you can relax with a hot drink while listening to some great local talent. Don't miss the spectacular fireworks show on the Square at approximately 7pm.

10am-3pm	City Market Downtown at City Hall
11am-8pm	FREE concert on Churchill Square Main Stage
11am-5pm	Free kids' activities in the Cowpoke Corral
7pm	Fireworks show
11am-9pm	Beer gardens
