Bring Mom to Muttart and Escape to the Pyramids!

Experience an array of activities meant to soothe Mom's soul and make her smile.

On event day let your mom enjoy a drop-in mini massage from one of the fantastic students from Makami College. While she's enjoying a bit of relaxation, take time to create a card, and put together a little box of chocolates for a Mother's Day present.

Mom can also learn about flower arranging, and enter to win a floral arrangement created on event day.

Join us and enjoy the sounds of live music and a chance to relax and rejuvenate in beautiful surroundings.

  • Mini Massage for Mom – Mothers of all ages can drop in and enjoy a 10-minute chair massage compliments of the talented massage students from Makami College. Stress will melt away as you enjoy a bit of time to yourself.

  • Mother’s Day Card Creation – Take time to create a beautiful card for one of the most important people in your life. Join Nikki Cloutier of Stampin’ Up as she gives you tips and tricks to create a masterpiece for your mom.

  • Chocolate Delights Just for Mom – Create a personalized box of chocolates just for mom, complete with decoration, ribbon, and of course chocolaty goodness. Available while supplies last.

  • Planting Activity – Everyone can pot a small Muttart grown seedling to take home and give all the love and attention it needs! Available while supplies last.

  • Flower Arranging Sessions - Learn more about flower arranging as our instructor designs a beautiful floral display. Enter to win her creation at the end of each session. 

  • Enter to Win - The Muttart Gift Shop has put together a gift basket full of surprises sure to delight. Enter to win this great prize on event day and make your mom smile when you pass it on to her! 

  • Live Music from 1 - 3:30pm – Soothing harmonies from the harp will float through centre court as the talented Audrey Stewart plays songs to sooth your soul. The Feature Pyramid will be awash in the fabulous sounds of the flute as Spencer Murray serenades guests.

  • Take a Tour - Our knowledgeable public interpretation staff will be taking guests on tours of the pyramids throughout the day. Join in on one of the “Natural Healing: Medicinal Herbs and Plants” tours at noon, 1:30pm or 3pm and learn something new during your visit.
