Hope Springs Eternal
January 14 – March 4, 2012
This show features a multitude of colours that will inspire true love as the late winter progresses into spring. Azaleas and Cyclamens are featured in shades of red, pink, purple and white. Couples can rekindle their spark as they walk through the "Broken Heart" bed.
Teddy Bear’s Picnic
March 10 – April 15, 2012
You are invited to the Teddy Bear’s Picnic where you will be treated to an amazing assortment of spring bulbs such as tulips, narcissus, daffodils and muscari. A large balloon accompanied by plenty of adorable bears will be sure to delight children of all ages.
Picture Perfect… A Wedding to Remember
April 21 – June 17, 2012
In this show, hopeful couples will be inspired by an enormous array of colours and sights that will create the picture perfect wedding experience. There are plenty of vignettes for the happy couples to pose and create the perfect picture.
Floral Palette
June 23 – July 29, 2012
In this show you’ll find a myriad of interesting annuals. The landscape will come to life with living frames, artists’ implements and a beautiful display of complimentary colours. Large picture frames will create the perfect vignette for photographers to capture beautiful images. The colourful flora in the centre bed will create the illusion of a painter’s palette.
Seeking Perfection…The Dahlia Show
August 4 – September 16, 2012
This show is a unique collaboration between the conservatory and the Dahlia Society. It will feature over 50 varieties of Dahlias that have been bred by local breeders. The flowers will range from diminutive daisy-like flowers all the way to huge “dinnerplate” dahlias so named because the flowers can get as large as actual dinner plates.
Cornucopia of Colour
September 22 – November 18, 2012
The “Cornucopia of Colour” will feature a fall harvest of the warm colours of chrysanthemums. Visitors will marvel at the cornucopia located at the centre of the pyramid that will be spilling out with a bounty of colour and seasonal abundance.
The Nutcracker Story
November 24, 2012 – January 6, 2013
Visitors will enjoy the holiday spirit as they experience thousands of beautiful poinsettias accented by characters from the famous nutcracker story.
