You can’t beat the fun and excitement found at the Muttart for Family Day!

There will be fantastic games for the kids as they venture through the pyramids, entertaining music, face painting and a chance to win a prize basket from the Muttart gift shop.

Stop in and join us for a great family adventure regardless of the weather.

Event details:

  • Drop in Drumming Sessions – Try your hand at drumming this family day. Take a turn grooving to the beat of a group drum session.
  • Musical Instrument Creation Station – Create a music maker that can be used during the drum session. From coffee can drums to children’s make shift tambourines, children will delight in creating their own take home instrument (while supplies last). 
  • Face Painting – you’ll find the fantastic “Purple Team” here at Muttart to paint a work of art for your young one. Choose from a small face painted design or an air brush tattoo; you’ll love what the artists have in store!
  • Magician – watch with wonder as the magic unfolds throughout the facility from 1-3pm. 
  • Games and prizes – make your way around the pyramids, check out the games and win a prize when you’re done! 
  • Enter to Win – the Muttart gift shop has created a beautiful gift basket perfect for any family! Enter to win this array of goodies while you’re enjoying the Family Day activities. 
  • Pyramid Tours – our knowledgeable public interpretation staff will be taking guests on tours of the pyramids throughout the day. Join one of the “Garden for the Senses” tours at noon, 1:30pm or 3pm and learn something new during your visit. 
  • Feature Pyramid - take a moment to enjoy the beauty in the new feature show entitled, "Love Springs Eternal", which is awash in colourful Azaleas and Cyclamens.
