Find out what’s hopping this Easter Monday at Muttart Conservatory.

Explore the pyramids in search of all things bunny and bear related and sit and enjoy a “cup of tea” with residents of the Teddy Bears Picnic feature pyramid display. Play bear-themed games and have your face painted. Enter to win an Easter prize basket.

The family will love all we have to offer on this Easter Monday.

• Music for the Children - Join Dawn Bissett of Rainbow Music as she creates interactive music sessions for children. Get ready to groove and use a few instruments along the way!

• Easter Egg Collector Creation - Take some time to create your very own milk jug mini Easter egg collector complete with ribbon and Easter colours.

• Planting Activity - Decorate a plant container bunny or bear style. Add a Muttart grown seedling to top off your planting activity. Take it home and give it all the love and attention it needs! Available while supplies last.

• Bunny Scavenger Hunt - Search the pyramids to see how many bunnies you can find hidden amongst the plants. Prizes await the children that count up all the bunnies! 

• Tea Party with the Teddy Bears - Take some time to make believe with the residents of the “Teddy Bears Picnic” in the Feature Pyramid. Take a seat at a table and play with our children’s tea sets while you explore what the bears are up to.

• Enter to Win - The Muttart Gift Shop has put together a gift basket full of bear themed surprises. Enter to win this great prize on event day.  

• Face painting - The Purple Team, will be on hand to design a fantastically “Bear or Bunny” related work of art for your child. Complete your Easter festivities with a piece of art that you take home with you.

• Caricatures - Laurel Hawkswell will be creating fun and playful caricatures for patrons, so take a turn posing and let her turn you or your family into a cartoon work of art.

• Bunny Ring Toss - Test your throwing skills and win a prize. Use your super strength and superior aim to master this game. 

• Take a Tour - Our knowledgeable public interpretation staff will be taking guest on tours of the pyramids throughout the day. Join in on one of the “Sweet, Sweet Plants” tours at noon, 1:30 or 3pm and learn something new during your visit.
