A joint celebration of National Aboriginal Day, and Canadian Multiculturalism Day, hosted at the John Walter Museum in Edmonton. Visitors to this free event will enjoy the Metis tradition of bannock, enjoy historical demonstrations by interpreters and listen to live music. Walking tour guides of Edmonton's historic and culturally significant river valley will be provided. Visitors will learn about Canada today, while paying homage to the Canada of yesterday.
