Celebrate and learn all about Edmonton’s River Valley biodiversity! Visit a salamander, see a garter snake, go on a bug hunt, or play some outdoor nature games! Edmonton Valley Zoo’s Travelling Zoo Van will stop by with some local animal friends for you to meet too!
Bug-ology!

It’s a bug’s life at John Janzen Nature Centre! Come to Bug-ology to learn all about bugs – flies, beetles, worms, slugs, spiders, butterflies and more! Earn your Bug-ology diploma by examining live insects, learning about bumble bees, and checking out worm composting. With so much bug action, it’s the perfect way to spend Fathers Day!
