Special Events Application Form

Form must be submitted no later than 12 weeks prior to the event day.













Please note the following:

  • Depending on the size and scope of your event, civic services costs may be incurred by the event (i.e. road closures, special event policing, medical services, equipment rentals, etc.)
  • All events on road right-of-ways require a Special Event Roadway Permit or Parade/Procession Permit with the exception of Block Parities
  • Erection of tents and/or other structure may require additional permits
  • All events held on a right-of-way or City of Edmonton property require proof of at least $2,000,000 liability insurance in favour of the City of Edmonton
