At the Edmonton Valley Zoo learning is encouraged through inspiring, engaging, and fun activities. The scope and reach of the zoo's educational programming will be expanded once the state-of-the art education centre opens in 2013.

Daycamps

Take a safari around the world, solve the case of the missing animal in an amazing "zoo-dunnit" mystery, or take part in the zoo-mazing race.

We offer daycamps for children at the zoo during:

  • Christmas break
  • Spring break

  • Summer break

School Programs

Thousands of Edmonton region students attend the wildest classroom in town each year to engage with and learn about animals, their habitats and the challenges to their survival.

Group Programs

At the Edmonton Valley Zoo we have tailored programs to entertain and engage groups of all ages. Whether your posse wants to head down to the zoo for a safari, a sleepover or to come nose to nose with some enchanting animals OR if you are interested in having the zoo come to you... we offer the right program!

Birthday Parties
