Did you know that the Edmonton Valley Zoo is open all year round? Whether it's spring, summer, fall or winter, there’s plenty to see and do at the zoo! Please join us by registering in our Children's Courses below!

Please fill out a Pre-Registered Child/Family Program Evaluation form and mail or fax it back to the Edmonton Valley Zoo. Our mail and fax information is on the back page of the evaluation. We value customer comments and suggestions!

2012 Spring Programs

Registration for these children’s programs begins on April 1, 2012. Classes fill quickly, so please register early.

Teddy Bear Gang (Ages 1 – 2 years & Adult) - SOLD OUT

$30/child

Touch a tortoise, tickle a bunny, and ruffle some feathers of a bird. Each week your child will see and touch a few critters. It’s discovery time for both your child and yourself. One adult must attend to supervise and only children that are registered will be allowed to participate in the program. Attend all 3 dates in one chosen session.

Creature Feature (Ages 2 – 3 years & Adult)

$40/child

Each week will feature a different group of animals – birds, reptiles and amphibians, and mammals. From armadillos to lizards, we’ll see and touch a variety of animals as we explore the Zoo’s exotic treasures.
One adult must attend to supervise and only children that are registered will be allowed to participate in the program. Attend all three dates in one chosen session.

Monkey Business (Ages 3 – 5 years)

$23/child

Swing over to the Edmonton Valley Zoo and visit our primate pals! Discover how apes are different from monkeys, find out what lemurs like for lunch, and more! We’ll practice moving and talking like monkeys, play a monkey-themed game, and make a fuzzy monkey magnet friend to take home. Adult attendance is optional. If an adult is staying with the child, then unregistered children may not attend with the adult.

Fine Feathered Friends (Ages 3 – 5 years)

$23/child

Have a bird-tastic time at the Zoo with our feathered residents! We’ll meet chickens, quail and doves, visit the birds of prey, and make a treat for our parrots to eat. See and touch feathers and eggs, and make a flying bird craft to take home! Adult attendance is optional. If an adult is staying with the child, then unregistered children may not attend with the adult.
