The City of Edmonton and our community partners are committed to creating an inclusive community that honours the contributions of all its citizens. The International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) serves to increase awareness and understanding of persons with disabilities and the issues that impact their lives.
Since December 3rd, 2003 the City of Edmonton has been celebrating this day to recognize the ability of persons with disabilities and importance of inclusion for all citizens.
