32nd Annual Coronation Triathlon
Are you up to the challenge?
The Coronation Triathlon is a challenging course for all levels of athletes. This is one of Alberta's first urban triathlons and is sanctioned by the Alberta Triathlon Association.
The Course
The 2016 Coronation Triathlon offers 4 different events to get you out and 'Tri' it! The events run through Edmonton's Coronation Park area and includes the following:
Standard Distance Triathlon: 1 km swim in Peter Hemingway Pool, 26 km cycle on Groat Road, 8 km run along Groat Road and Mackinnon Ravine.
Tri It Distance Triathlon: 500 m swim in Peter Hemingway pool, 13 km cycle on Groat Road, 4 km run along Groat Road.
Duathlon: 8 km run along Groat Road, 26 km cycle on Groat Road, 4 km run along Groat Road.
Kids of Steel: Distances vary by age, and events are open to kids ages 3-11.

You can participate as a team or an individual by registering online. If this is your first time registering for an event you may need to set up an account. If you experience any issues please contact events@multisportscanada.com.
Deadline for registration is Thursday May 19, 2016.

Entry Fees
Alberta Triathlon Association members receive a discount. Fees include GST and online service charges. Competitors receive refreshments and lunch at the event.

Entries recieved on/after May 1 are not guaranteed t-shirts or sizing.
Entry fees includes GST.
Adults: Entry fees do not include ATA day-insurance fee ($20) if non-ATA member. If no valid ATA membership is entered, the day-fee will automatically be added.
Volunteer
Volunteers of all ages and abilities are also needed on race day to help make the triathlon a success. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us by email.
